17th Annual Convention of the IAGLCWDC!
It was our pleasure to host you in our home town.

The Heart of Texas Hoedowners, Inc., a non-profit dance organization, was established in the summer of 2001 to promote the enjoyment of country/western music and dance in the Austin, Texas area.

The group works to provide a comfortable dance environment and organized learning opportunities to the gay- and lesbian-friendly community. Although events are conceived with this segment of the central Texas population in mind, the group does not discriminate. We enthusiastically invite everyone to join us and participate in our activities. We are dedicated to preserving a safe, fun environment where dance positions are not gender-defined.

Our 2010 membership drive is on. Our community service activities are largely determined by the size of our membership, so please consider joining to help us support the community as well as to have a great time. Find us on Facebook to see what we're up to next!

The IAGLCWDC exists "to promote country western dancing, activities and music to all persons without regard to age, sex, gender or gender identity, religion, national or cultural origin, sexual orientation, disability or HIV status."

The Heart of Texas Hoedowners, Inc. is proud to support that purpose by being a member club of the IAGLCWDC.
